PUUR Certifications

The mission of our company is to be unwavering in our commitment to toxin-free, so our costumers can shop with the freedom of knowing that everything we make is safe and good. The first step is assuring our quality and safety, therefor we are proud to be certified with three of the most important gold standards for personal care.

CertClean is a Canadian-based organization providing certification for safer beauty and personal care products. What differentiates CertClean from other “natural” or “organic” certifying bodies is that it isn’t just about meeting a certain percentage of natural or organic ingredients in the bottle or tube. This is a certification that addresses the most important element of all - your health. All CertClean designated products must be free of ingredients that may pose a risk to our hormonal, reproductive and or neurological systems. CertClean is truly a certification that prioritizes human health.

CertClean also has a website, PurPicks, where individuals can review and search for safer skincare products that are certified by CertClean. You can find product reviews where customers share their thoughts on the effectiveness of these certified products.

The entire PUUR Ingrid product line was rigorously assessed by CertClean and we were incredibly pleased to learn that our entire line of skin and body-care products passed with flying colours.

Leaping Bunny

PUUR Ingrid is proud to be approved by Cruelty-Free International and carry their Leaping Bunny logo. The Leaping Bunny's rigorously high standards certify that no animal testing is conducted or commissioned for finished products or ingredients in any phase of product development by the company, its laboratories or its suppliers.

Since its inception, PUUR Ingrid has been a 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Being officially approved as cruelty-free under the Leaping Bunny programme confirms our dedication to pure, mild & effective skincare that does not involve any animal testing at any stage.

EWG - Environmental Working Group

The Environmental Working Group has been researching an incredibly wide variety of consumer goods for over two decades. Their Skin Deep database is specific to skincare products, and currently has over 65,000 products rated on a scale from “low hazard” to “high hazard.”

According to a study conducted by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), the average woman uses 12 personal care products or cosmetics each and every day, allowing her skin, mouth and lungs to absorb an average of 168 chemicals that may have toxic effects in the body.

To determine how safe your skincare products are, you can visit www.ewg.org/skindeep. This is a cosmetic database, where you can type the name of a skincare product and get a list of harmful ingredients in the order of highest to lowest concentrations contained within it. Each product is also given a 1-10 rating based on its detrimental effects.

PUUR Ingrid is currently in the process of getting all products certified with EWG.
